About the Dream
To farm and be self sufficient has been a dream several years in the making, Paw Print Living started out as a mindset and has grown from there.
In the beginning, before keeping any livestock, there was a desire and drive to be healthy and eat healthy. Part of those beginnings was enjoying the outdoors and hiking the woods with the dogs, having adventures with those furry four legged companions and eventually wanting to do more for them and us. Soon enough, a small flock of chickens joined the homestead to supply the family (both human and furry) with eggs, and from there more livestock additions and designated vegetable garden beds.
Now on this land there comes a supply of meats, eggs, fruits, and vegetables as well as home made products available for sale. But the dream doesn't stop there and like any dream, there is always room to grow into something more.

The Lady Behind the Dream
As a single mother to two wonderful boys, I strive to build and maintain this lifestyle while also giving my sons the best lives possible. Part of this was making the decision to start over in a new state with some new land, making new friends, and experiencing new adventures. Juggling children, animals, and a garden isn't always easy but that just adds to the fun.
